| The canonical form of 'if' in modern TCL is 'if {} {}'. But there's still a bunch of places in the testsuite where we make use of the 'then' keyword, and sometimes these get copies into new tests, which just spreads poor practice. This commit removes all use of the 'then' keyword from the gdb.fortran/ test script directory. There should be no changes in what is tested after this commit. | |||||

| For a program compiled with gfortran the base type names are written as lower cases in the DWARF, and so GDB will display them as lower case. Additionally, in most places where GDB supplies its own type names (for example all of the types defined in f-lang.c in `build_fortran_types`), the type names are all lower case. An exception to this is where GDB prints the void type for Fortran. In this case GDB uses upper case. I'm not aware of any reason why this type should merit special attention, and it looks our of place when printing types, so this commit changes from 'VOID' to 'void' to match all the other types. gdb/ChangeLog: * f-lang.c (build_fortran_types): Change name of void type to lower case. * f-typeprint.c (f_type_print_base): Print the name of the void type, rather than a fixed string. * f-valprint.c (f_decorations): Use lower case void string. gdb/testsuite/ChangeLog: * gdb.fortran/exprs.exp (test_convenience_variables): Expect lower case void string. | |||||

| This commit applies all changes made after running the gdb/copyright.py script. Note that one file was flagged by the script, due to an invalid copyright header (gdb/unittests/basic_string_view/element_access/char/empty.cc). Likewise for test_print_reject and prt_reject. * lib/gdb.exp (test_print_reject): Add some more error message patterns to match from the former printcmds.exp (prt_reject). * gdb.c++/classes.exp, gdb.base/scope.exp: Remove spurious xfails. One defect of the passcount stuff is that some of it failed to report XPASS where appropriate. * gdb.c++/cplusfuncs.exp (print_addr_of): No longer accept extra stuff before and after arg in expected pattern. (test_paddr_operator_functions): Re-do test without print_addr_of; this is the only test which seems to want extra stuff there. | |||||
